Junior Graphic Designer.

Job Description.

  • This role covers a diverse range of marketing collateral - from branding, logo and packaging development, right through to retail window campaign development and implementation, photography briefs, digital content for emails, website and social.

  • The position will suit a junior designer who has an equal interest in print and digital media and who wants to get involved in all aspects of the design business from research and concept right through to artwork and implementation.

  • You will be involved in contributing to brainstorm sessions with new design ideas and will take responsibility across multiple tasks and projects to run them on time and to a high standard, continually prioritising and adapting as you go.

  • Supporting across multiple brands, you will have plenty of opportunity to get involved in all areas of desgn.

  • Researching new design trends and gathering innovative ideas for improving visual design is a key skill required. Strong skills in layout, colour and typography are essential.

  • Key Adobe Software - Indesign / Illustrator / AfterEffects / XD / Photoshop

  • Working knowledge of shopify and wix website platforms.

  • You will demonstrate strong organisational skills and be able to work with minimal supervision on a daily basis, documenting and filing your designs as you go onto our server for the team to access.

  • You will need to have excellent time management skills and be able to manage multiple projects on a daily basis, demonstrating flexibility as the workflow requires and demonstrating calmness under pressure.

  • Degree in graphic design or equivalent Visual arts BS/BA - both for print and digital

  • Recent Graduate with working experience / ideally 1 year commercial experience in studio environment.

  • Experience working with fashion and lifestyle retail brands,

  • Excellent communication ski;;s - verbally, written and visual.

  • Proven ability to work to deadlines and under pressure at times whilst displaying key eye for detail and maintaining design standards.

  • Independent working will be required although you will have senior designers to mentor and advise you.

  • Driving license and own transport essential.
